- A self-taught artist born in Kosovo in April 1972, he works in everything from oil on paper to acrylic on canvas. Dritan who currently lives in London (UK) confesses a distinct preference for abstract images in oil on canvas; this is based on the colours, textures and richness that oil allows. His work is an extension of his soul a place where he can channel his emotions and confront the rational and irrational nature of his universe.
